10 tips on how to stay motivated

Motivation is by far the hardest attribute to obtain. It is also the hardest to manifest and live by. Self motivation can come easy to some and can be a work in progress for others.

For myself its hard. Staying Motivated is something I have to work on each day whether its eating healthy, training, staying in a routine with my 15 month old or just being positive about everything. I have to motivate myself.

Here are 10 tips to staying motivated

  1. Write down your long term and short term goals or make a vision board(stick them somewhere visible) seeing your goals each day helps to keep you motivated to reach them.

  2. Make a daily routine and stick to it. Make sure to set a time for the task you feel least motivated for example studying, exercise, meal prep any task you struggle with and stick to it. Start small and increase time even 15mins is a start.

  3. Make weekly checkpoints to monitor your progress towards achieving your goals.

  4. Reward yourself. Make sure when you reach a checkpoint or a goal that you rewars yourself.

  5. Take a break. You wont reach your goals if you are burning yourself out in the process.

  6. Focus on why you want to achieve the goals you set. Why is very important in order to achieve your goals there must be a reason you started. If there isn't a valid reason why start in the first place.

  7. Watch, Listen and Read inspiring Stories. Make sure to fuel yourself with people/storys that motivate you and inspire you.

  8. Make a change, whether its changing where you study, doing a different workout etc making a change even just for a day or two helps to keep you motivated.

  9. Cut out distractions. That Netflix Series can wait your phone(social media can wait).

  10. Stay accountable to someone, whether its a workout partner, study partner, someone you meal prep for a colleague at work etc make sure you have someone to help keep you on track.


Stay Motivated and Keep moving forward. Dont be hard on yourself sometimes we fall off the wagon but always get back on. If you Change Nothing then Nothing Changes.
