So this Blog will be a series about health, weight gain and loss as well as body positivity, mental health and fitness.

Lets start off by saying I am by no means a influencer, dietitian, personal trainer I am strictly telling my story and sharing my own personal knowledge and experience.

Lets Begin.

You look good for having 2 kids is the title of this blog as it hits home for me. My biggest flaw is my lack of motivation and how I body shame myself. My personal lack of confidence was alarming.

I was so afraid that I would be a fat, ugly and unapproachable mother it effected me everyday.

Getting up in the morning the first place I would go was to the mirror and check my body(signs of weight loss

My unhealthy relationship with my body has been an on going struggle for most of my life(even when I was slim)

However today that relationship has changed, yes of course I still have days where I am like "you shouldn't of eaten those 3 biscuits, you will get fat" but the new me responses to that little voice( it used to be big) and says a big bold FU** Y** and that's the end of that.

In this part of the blog we will discuss Health, Physical and Metal health.

HEALTH can be broken up into so many different areas. Physical health can be how you take care of yourself and others, meaning internally and externally.

Lets talk PHYSICAL HEALTH, Going to Gym and training this is obvious to so many people however for me living an active lifestyle is better for your health. Going for a hike, cycling along the beach, taking dogs for a walk or playing a sport these are simple things that will benefit your physical health as well as your mental health.

Going to the gym and lifting weights or doing an hr cardio session isn't for everyone. If that is for you its the perfect place to meet people who has the same or similar Goals to you in the physical aspect of things.

Surrounding yourself with people who have the same or similar Goals to you can help you stay accountable but that is another conversation for another blog.

Gym or living an Active Lifestyle is one Physical way to stay Healthy. There is diet as well which is about what you put into your body. However I believe in an 80/20 system. This means if you eat clean 80% of the time the other 20% is for indulgence this is also for your mental health.

Balance is very important.

There are also other ways to take care of your Physical Health by self grooming/self care. Whether it be getting your hair cut, having a daily skin care routine etc. Its just as important as going to gym, staying active and having a balanced diet.

Next is MENTAL HEALTH.

This is a huge topic and will follow through into our next blog.

Mental Health is a serious issue, everything we do Physically affects us Mentally. From the food we eat to the exercise we do or the lack of exercise. Self care plays an import role in our mental stability and health.

How does everything we do affect our Mental Health you ask?

When you find something pleasurable for example eating junk food(chocolate) you release endorphins. There are many ways that trigger a release of endorphins. Endorphins react with the receptors in your brain and minimize the perception of pain as well as increase your perception of pleasure.

Exercise, Sex, Chocolate are a few ways that release endorphins.

For example when I don't train I am depressed and miserable due to the lack of endorphins being released and I find when I don't train I eat junk food which makes me feel good( for a short amount of time) and releases endorphins which improves my mood for a short time.

Your Brain is a muscle and can be trained/ conditioned into living a healthier lifestyle and to being positive and loving yourself. Self love comes naturally to some and others like myself have to work on it daily.

The most important part of your own personal health is loving who you are and accepting that you are in control of your own state of mind as well as your body and how you choose to use it and care for it.
